I have always been involved in music.  Ever since I was a toddler, I have been singing and figuring musical stuff out in my head.  I really feel like music is just something that is in me.  I don't have to make myself think through or toil with the music that I am working on at the time.  That process of trying to get better and more analytical is something that I can't avoid.

College was a wonderful time for me.  I was a Music Education major and although class hours were numerous, I had time to make some lifelong friends, sing, perform all I wanted, and be in Chapter 6.  After college, I wanted to pursue a professional solo career.  Thank gooness God had other plans.

Chapter 6 has offered all of us opportunities, personally and professionally, that are incredible and only found because of God's providence.  I've enjoyed all of it, from the hundreds of big houses we've played to the all-night van rides when I've got the 3 a.m. shift.  Mostly, I love being part of a band of brothers that will never go away.

Family and friends are the most important thing on the earth that I have.  My wife, Sarah, is the love of my life and my true partner in faith.  She's also brilliant and smokin' hot!  I'm very blessed to have become part of her wonderful and loving family.  My parents and sister's family have always been there to love and support me as well.  I wouldn't be who I am without them.  I thank all of them for their love and support.
